Are "How to expense" sections helpful with conversions or just a bad idea?
(I made a video that shows the section on my site • You can watch in 2x)
Hi everyone,
I released
#railsblocks
around 10 days ago, and I got 8 sales already which is great.
But all these sales were on the personal plan, so I've just added a "Ask your company" button that shows tips on how to ask your manager/boss to pay for the tool for their whole team.
I'm still a bit hesitant about this, I'm not sure if I it's something that I should keep, change or remove, and was wondering if some of you have experimented with this kind of thing before.

I would just run an A/B test for a few weeks. Your goal is for that button to increase higher tier plan signups, so just use that as your A/B test goal, update your code to increment the metric when this happens, and call it a day. You’ll have your answer shortly.
Got it thank you Ben! I'll just be more patient and see the results.
Usually enterprise sales cycles are way longer, so it’s pretty normal to see personal sales first. Either way I love how polypane goes about this same issue check them out
Makes sense yes, also just checked Polypane and it's giving me some ideas thanks! Their pricing page is going to the Swipe File :)
