Working from Brunetti at Flinders Lane -
#desci now has included the telescope viewports & space scenes in the dark/light mode toggle.
A lot of css went into this....
It's almost deploy time!
Now at Crème in Port Melbourne, finished my "real job" so I can spend the entire day working on
#desci
Building some new scenes/viewports and mini games for users to play while they wait for their structures to find new objects to study.
The cafe hotel is pretty good...working on adding user missions/challenges to access viewports in
#desci
Velocity lounge was full of FIFO this morning, but still managed to get 90 minutes of solid work in before they'd crowded up the joint.
Really longing for the Züri Flughafen experience, still a few weeks :(

Did some screaming into the void - x.com/TheMrScrooby/status/194…
#desci is only going to get users if I start talking about it publicly...now that I'm relatively confident there's no bugs on the index route (and google auth works :) ), there's no reason to keep silent.
This week, I'm going to be getting back into game engines (after a few years away) for
#desci components, but I still need to put the finishing touches on the new telescope tech tree, which means - even more data needs to be processed!...
Designing the new telescope tech/skill tree for
#desci at Arlo (by Mo)
Might put together a list of the best cafes in Australia for anyone who's interested later this week.
For now, Creme in Port Melbourne and Marché in Hawthorn are the two best cafes in the country.
Finishing off the goals for this week’s
#desci sprint
Accompanied by, of course, the very famous Get Chunky cookies
Few bugs in
#desci have been reported (mainly with the navigation on mobile), so stopping at Koko Black (another Melbourne-owned cafe) to quickly deliver a patch

And…that’s fixed.
#desci now correctly shows annotation labels; and the scrolling functionality has been fixed
When demoing the new
#desci UI to my dad, I realised I hadn't properly optimised the mobile layout for the telescope page. So, I'm two coffees in - let's get back to work.
