Freediving
realize that i measure how deep can i free dive without the divers watch by simply counting pulls. 1 pull = 1m
#freediving
freedive ~13m using buoy chain
#freediving
the easiest way to dive is using a rope that attaches to the bottom.
u just pull it and use minimum oxygen, compare to using hands and legs to dive.
but these only exist in freediving schools, set by instructors.
on public beaches, there is no such thing.
but...
i found out that buoys have chains attached to the bottom.
I decided try
it's rusty as fuck and covered all in prickly seaweed,
so i used my gym gloves to cover my hands.
there are 3 buoys, different distances from the shore and different depths.
first one was easy, like 5m.
second one was maybe 8m,
the last buoy was like 200m from the shore and was small waves.
so I swim to this last one
I look down, don't see the bottom.
decided to chill a bit while holding it, but there were small waves and holding the buoy made my dizzy a bit. but fck it, let's go.
first attampt: went ~7m. still don't see the bottom, went back.
chill couple of minutes
second attempt went all in
~13m, reach the bottom.
swimm back.
great success.
there is one more buoy left, ~300m from the shore, a bit scary but let's try.
