Opened the manuscript tracker I created for a publisher and saw 36 manuscripts to edit spanning now til March 2025 😹 And this is just ONE publisher I freelance with (and I'm obviously going to request more lol) #freelance
novella edited; invoice sent -- got another two novellas on my plate, bringing the current total to 16 (and I know the publishers have more if I want them), which means I've got project deadlines spanning to mid-January #freelance
used chatgpt to change all the verb tenses to present in the manuscript so I didn't defenestrate my laptop after 4 hours of fighting with it (and hardly getting anywhere). It saved me AT LEAST 5 additional hours, if not more. #freelance
