Willing to hear about your problem that you can't really describe
Hey there,
I’m running a small experiment.
I’m running a small experiment.
After 15 years of building software and untangling processes in startups, scaleups, and the occasional unicorn, I want to try something new. Something like consulting/mentorship/troubleshooting, but without the suits, the slide decks, or the need to pretend I know better.
Here’s the offer: If you’ve got a messy problem - product, process, data, strategy - I’ll take a look. Pro bono, no strings attached. Just to see what happens.
Where I believe I can help:
- Making sense of chaos (systems, data, teams)
- Helping you name the actual problem behind “we need a CRM” or “we’re not converting”
- Optimising/automating processes
- Roadmapping options based on goal/resource tradeoffs
- Just a general fresh look at a problem you've been living with for ages
I'm doing this to see whether I'm as useful as I believe myself to be and to test if this model works for people and for myself. If you walk away with more clarity, that's a win. If I walk away with more clarity too, that’s a win-win.
Hit me up if you're interested.
What are you working on these days?
The project that brought me here is me looking for an application for my experience and skills that is more human-to-human rather than business-to-business.
Also, I’m designing a practical business analysis course intended to help people understand what this profession is really about. It teaches some BA basics along with some understanding of what a business looks like behind the scenes, and hopefully will make them stand out a little when looking for an entry-level position.
Side-quests: a glitch-heavy meta-narrative game that i can't carve out time to work on lately, and a bunch of visceral progressive-pop-djent blend ideas I hope to play live someday.
What can the WIP community help you with right now?
I'm looking for people with different kinds of product and organisational problems who will perhaps be willing to invite me to help. I'm not digging for leads, as I'm not planning to charge anything for now. Some general understanding of where I fit (if anywhere at all) and which direction to take would be enough for me.
As a bonus, maybe I could come across like-minded people here to collaborate on my other projects.
What can you help others with?
My premise for joining the community is to offer a fresh look on the problems people have here. My goal for now is to see whether I can provide value in this way.
I've spent my whole career building software and processes across different industries, scales, stages. Perhaps, this perspective can be valuable here.
