3x seems common now, but honestly, it depends soooo much on the niche

don't count yourself rich early

Also, it depends on who buys.

E.g. your competitor or somebody who acquires your SaaS for strategic reasons might pay much more than somebody who just wants "passive income".

yeah exactly this, i can make a tool sell it for 100x to the right buyer but those cases are rare
