Success with Affiliates?

Question

Curious if anyone here has had success with affiliates and if so, do you have any tips?

I set up an affiliate scheme for #journorobo this morning and would love to add fuel to the fire with it!

I've set them up for clients, but I don't personally need affiliates. (I do have a referral program, though, so it operates slightly differently.)

What are you already doing with affiliate marketing and how has it been working so far? Also, what's your capacity/resource level for an affiliate marketing campaign?

I don't have too much experience with affiliates (for SaaS products), but the little I can share is that affiliates work if you work hard to convince good (and great) content creators or products related to yours and pay high commissions. You have to push hard.

On the other hand, my experience with affiliate requests (people who want to be an affiliate of your product) is that they are a waste of time. These affiliates usually don't get any sales...
