I lost my 18 day streak and you know what I am okay with that. It did not hurt enough to pay the cost to save it because I dont make enough from my projects.
My app is similar and pretty much everytime someone with a streak of 20 or more doesn't checkin it's because they forgot not because they didn't do the thing.
I've been considering setting up some simple automations so that major github releases (or something similar) trigger posts here. This might push me to finally do it!

Yeah, I've definitely gotten in such a deep flow for 18+ hours and forgot to check in, too, which is a good problem to have, to be fair. 😂

At least it's fair here. I lost a few hundred day streak at another site because they had some weird time/timezone computation.
