After a recent freelance contract, I learned a lot about the semi-new platform as a service render.com. I've tried to build products in the past, but always flopped because I couldn't drive traffic to my products/ideas. My goal with this blog is to write 1-2 articles per week and put out a free product that I can drive traffic to as a learning process.

Not sure! In my current stage I don't know what I don't know, so if I'm saying something strange, I ask that you comment on it and dig into what I'm saying!

I'm a backend developer primarily and I've been getting my feet wet with more frontend work. If you have any technical problems, I'm super happy to talk with you about them! I specialize in database performance and distributed systems, but I've also screened and hired lots of developers, done R&D tax consulting, been a project lead- I have lots of experience to bring to the table.
