see my dbrand leather skin applied to my MacBook Pro top lid already peel off at the edges due to rubbing when inserting into my backpack, after researching this is totally normal for leather and not really due to dbrand quality issue more incompatibility of leather skins with rubbing. Meaning... MacBook either needs to stay on a desk 100% of the time and not be inserted in a backpack, or I need to remove the skin and switch to a Vinyl skin instead. Thus, I ordered a 100% Vinyl replacement from dbrand — too bad, I really loved the leather feel #life
see FR taxes take all of the money that's left on my main EUR bank account (5 digits) and now I'm left with not much cash money, because I underestimated tax hikes this year due to FR budget situation (exceptional taxes that are due in current year and not Year + 1 as it should be the rule — maybe should consider moving tax residency elsewhere cause this might only worsen over the years). I calculated that I currently pay effective 59.5% tax to FR end-to-end on capital gains (from customer credit card to what's left in my pocket free of all taxes and social charges), so I keep only 40.5% #life

go check eye vision and it did not change in 2 years since last check #life
apply matte screen protector on glossy SOTSU portable monitor for digital nomading, to match my new MacBook Pro with nano texture so that reflections do not kill my eyes when I travel. Get lucky today since it’s a perfect, no dust! #life
apply more quick fixes to my Nomad configurations so that all services come back online faster in the event of a full server restart #life
see my Tesla charging report for 2025 #life
realize I need to spend more time in sunny places to get plenty of light daily to prevent my myopia to worsen, no or low natural light is actually #1 cause of permanent myopia + it’s got real impact on mood and energy levels #life
finally find and fix issue with Nomad that has been bothering me for 1 year where NGINX was not restarting following a server restart. Was due to the default rescheduling policy which has exponential back off and thus created artificial wait of 30mins to start NGINX #life
apply nikwax to 2 of my backpacks to restore PU + Nylon shine + rain and UV resistance to prolong lifetime of all my nomad backpacks, next in line is my patagonia rain jacket #life
apply real leather skin on MacBook for style #life
pin all patched #crisp dependencies out of git urls for performance and especially security since we now rely on integrity hashes, reducing supply chain attack probability since code altered on github by eg. a github vulnerability (happened) will not be able to leak onto our projects
work on adding new settings section in #crisp app to move some old stuff there

fix non-working aws s3 bucket lifecycle rule to auto-remove old user imports (large uploaded CSVs of possibly 100MB) after 24h for #crisp
take coffee and food pause after 5h of code session non stop sitting on chair in shrimp mode #life
