#openclaw
OpenClaw is personal AI assistants for everyone. The project focuses on "agentic" capabilities, allowing the assistant to run on your own hardware while building its own "skills" and connecting to various APIs and local files to act as a proactive digital employee.
The AI service is temporarily overloaded. Please try again in a moment.
Anyone else getting this from
#openclaw ? I thought it was Opus but I've switched to Sonnet and still getting it.
How many named Claws do you have? Do you need more or less?
I have 6 currently: 1 assigned to my wife. 1 for marketing, he has a strong personality. 1 that uses a different default model for when Opus is having issues. And 3 Opus coder bots that work on different projects.

Luckily??? I had everything backed up that was deleted. But it could have been catastrophic. This wasn't an
#openclaw problem. It has never happened with one of my Opus Claws.
My Gemini based Claw did a `rm -rf` on a directory without first looking in the directory. It just assumed the data that it put into the directory was the only thing there.

Used a newer Claw yesterday. Told it to talk on the oldest Claw before doing something. It did what it thought was correct and deleted an app. Luckily it was easily fixed by the older Claw. It's just like managing humans.

Note to self, have a backup Claw that uses a different model. Anthropic is down and I can't use any of my claws.

Also, built a tool for a friend that will "find money". Billable hours being left off of invoices because people are forgetful. An hour of my day found him over $9000 for the month. I built it from bed.
#openclaw gets another win for the day.
Case Number 23 of: I never would have done that without an LLM: Open source code has an old library in it. I asked my
#openclaw to create a fork in my GitHub, point the remote origin to the fork, FIX the old library, and create a PR. This fixes my immediate problem, improves an open source library, everyone wins. BTW, I have no skills around the library (different languages and brand new tech to me), it would take me a week or longer to figure out how to make that fix.
My
#openclaw won't run cron jobs for any bot except the first one. Also, they will make beads, but won't close them after they finish the task. My guess is they aren't handing the beads task to the subagent doing the work.
