Where are you incorporating your company?

Specifically, for European founders: has anyone incorporated a company in a country in which they *do not* reside?

I am inclined to incorporate mine in Estonia because supposedly is the easiest (everything online, in English, few requirements, cheap accounting services).

Has anyone done that? Do you think it will cause any problems down the line?

Lots of indie hackers have their companies in Singapore (they can tell you why here), the US and some in UK, Estonia and Switzerland.

i hadn't considered singapore, thanks!

I'm very curious about Singapore. A lot of successful indiehackers seem to have it there

Singapore most likely due to the low tax rates and ease of setting up businesses, so if you have a successfull business it's a very lucrative option

· Stripe: stripe.com/atlas

· Osome: osome.com/

· Firstbase: www.firstbase.io/

· It's like Firstbase or Stripe Atlas but cheaper and for US, UK and Canada. privatily.com/

Although this might not be the most popular location and Stripe is not available here (but Paddle, Polar.sh work) you can incorporate in Moldova and pay 7% tax on revenue

Privatily looks interesting, is what you have used? Happy with it?

I'm considering Estonia. Reportedly, it takes 3-5 days to register a company and under a month to get e-Residency to run it. Costs are under 500 Eur.
