I think it's never too late to build personal brand. No matter what is your job, personal brand will help you gain the audiences and that increase your successful rate.

I'm thinking about making videos to share about indiehacker life. What platform should I use?

There is nothing better than YouTube for making video content. 
TikTok/IG are also good options for making short videos.
