@ben I was going to use a chat as my go-to operations alerting suite. I've used all of the other alerting tools, DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, etc. They all have their pros and cons but in the end, I always found myself automating alerting and monitoring into chat messages on Slack.
I was going to replace Slack with one of these, and I thought I'd pick the same one for my communit(y)(ies).
From what I see, Discord lacks the vast suite of integrations, but with a webhook I should be able to do most things anyway... (most integrations are webhooks under the hood anyway).
What kind of bot are you trying to make exactly? Discord has a good API in general and it's very possible to make a bot for a community

Yeah I like discord and use the same approach you mentioned (set up webhooks instead of depending on integrations)
