Intro
Hey I'm (a different) Tyler ππ I'm building an easy way for startups to add design to their products
What are you working on these days?
Hey folks π I'm Tyler and I'm currently launching Kojo Design, a one-man, design-as-a-subscription service for startups and technical teams. If there's two things I've learned while working in the tech industry, it's that:
1. Design isn't always easily prioritized, especially on small teams where moving fast is the primary goal
2. Not everyone has an eye for design, especially in very technical teams
I wanted to build a DaaS service that really caters to this niche, as I've been a developer, founder, and designer myself and strive to create systemized, practical designs based on my knowledge as both a frontend engineer and a designer.
I recently published my website and am now in talks with folks to try to land my first clients.
What can the WIP community help you with right now?
I would love feedback on my landing page, as well as chat with anyone who may be interested in the service or know anyone who might be interested. I'm also still trying to improve my sales muscle, so would love any advice on selling / customer acquisition.
What can you help others with?
As mentioned, I've been a founder, developer, and designer, so I can certainly help talk through any relevant problems anyone is facing. My specialty is in UI design and frontend engineering, but I've also been a CTO and have a wide range of technical knowledge.
Would also love to beta test y'all's products!

Hey @TJNickerson π
What kind of companies have you been the CTO of? What kind of technical stack did you use?
I'm pretty lucky that my partner with #codersfail knows web design and we can do everything in-house. In general, I think there is always need for design, I just don't know the people that need it :)
