I am working on a podcasting player, a stock photo site and gardening on the farm I live on.

My main issue is that I am such a nerd that I fail to focus on building the products I want to build and instead lay too much focus on stuff like the tech stack behind it.

For example, I am very comfortable in javascript and I have lots of experience with using MongoDB. But since I have that experience, I also have bad experiences with it. That makes me look at other stacks. How to decide?

I can offer my technical expertise mostly and probably also some gardening advice.
