That's terrible, and it's a huge question for the Portuguese government. But it's definitely not foreigners' fault.
We definitively can't blame foreigners, because they are doing nothing wrong other than using their money, the issue is that the government has enticed people to come because the country needs it, but they somewhat forgot (or dismissed) the economical impact on native portuguese.
When I see some product, and I don't see how it makes money, I am very reluctant to use it.
Those products either make money in shady ways or will die, so I never chose them.
So, how do you plan to make money on it?
Good question.
I plan to initiate a page for myself where I will be accepting money to run the platform from the community.
Since there wont be any bureaucracy, supporters can drive the direction of the platform.
Ofcourse its not possible to run for free for a long term unless I get support hence this question to validate.
Congrats! It's a significant step towards the future.
It's not financial advice, but I have invested in Total World Vanguard ETF for many years and couldn't be happier—I just DCA to it monthly and check performance quarterly. In Europe, the most famous World ETF is VWCE. It's not the best in terms of fees, but it's the easiest. There are ways to pay fewer fees by combining several, and it's easy to find them online. Here is a good one (in Dutch): www.indexfondsenvergelijken.nl.
I recommend watching some of the financial YouTubers (the best in the EU is www.youtube.com/@AngeloColomb…, in my opinion) or reading a few books ("Psychology of Money" is a good one, but also "The Simple Path to Wealth" is more practical oriented.). Understanding it yourself is always better than listening to somebody else. Most of the people don't know what they're doing when it comes to investing anyway 😂
I also recently started making videos about investing and personal finance (I made one so far). If you're curious, I'll add a shameless plug: youtu.be/fgWhNf-Ljd4?si=_jdDQ…
I'm just curious, what are the downsides of using AI for logo design, apart from the fact that it can be quite time-consuming for a good logo?
I find that it still feels rather disjointed and "off". Not opposed to it, and actually will probably end up going that route as I'm not sure I have the budget just yet to have someone help, but largely just curious as to how others do it.
No, unfortunately, it's all inside one iCloud "Inbox."
I use "Rules" to put different-colored Flags for some. There are more possibilities, but I found it enough for me.
Correct. The number of emails per domain is unlimited, AFAIK. All the domains and emails are connected to your primary iCloud account.
You can also create unlimited iCloud aliases on the icloud.com domain.
Excellent!
Last q, do emails all end up in the same "Inbox" in the Apple Mail client (ie. your iCloud account one)?
Or are you able to have multiple inboxes, like one per email?
No, unfortunately, it's all inside one iCloud "Inbox."

Their Mail app is very basic, for sure. But also, it's a bit refreshing sometimes not to have all those fancy features, haha.
If you are really willing to spend some time, it can indeed be customized quite well, especially with Apple Script.
You can probably receive emails for a custom domain in any other email client. However, I'm not sure about sending them; it depends on the client and whether it has iCloud mail integration.
It's Apple-ecosystem specific but here is my method.
I use the iCloud custom domain feature included in iCloud+ (which I pay for anyway): support.apple.com/guide/iclou….
In that case, all the custom domain emails are linked to your iCloud email account. You can receive and send emails from each of them.
I use the default Apple Mail app for mail, which connects my new email as soon as I create it via custom domain iCloud UI.
It's not ideal, but it's the easiest setup I could find, and it's free. Adding new domains is also reasonably straightforward. I use Cloudflare as a register and NS of all my domains, so I just add the MX records that Apple gave me.
I did not think about this -- I pay for iCloud as well 😅. Kind of hate their mail app, but probably because I have not configured it properly.

Hey Dmitrii, does Apple iCloud allows you to add multiple different email custom domains under a single iCloud account?
Correct. The number of emails per domain is unlimited, AFAIK. All the domains and emails are connected to your primary iCloud account.

It is illegal unless you asked about this or it is stated in your "Terms & Conditions" they are accepted.
For marketing emails, there is usually a separate check box during the signup process with the ability to always opt out of them.
Product updates are marketing emails, in my opinion.
Thanks for the reply, Dmitrii! I think that, too. Product updates are marketing emails.
