order 4TB NVMe SSD with high TBW endurance for home PC, to have plenty of scratch space to do anything (performance tests, migrations, vibe coding, etc.) especially on Rust projects, so that Linux VM guest goes on 4TB secondary SSD on 2nd M.2 slot on motherboard, while Windows host stays on main 2TB SSD w/ Steam games

use tiny new UGREEN 100W GaN charger or gf but after charging for too long MBP at 100W I almost burned myself unplugging the charger. Never seen a charger so hot, you need to hold it from the power plug. Wondering if it will eventually explode

realize my big PC at home is worth €150-300 monthly if I was to rent it as a server, but it only costs me €8 of electricity a month so 18x cheaper. added a €300 1kW UPS so the PC can run at max GPU and CPU w/o any problem when I run long build/test jobs via Claude code and it can survive power outages (like in a DC)
also realize it emits 25-40x less CO2 due to local power grid vs typical EU DC power grid + DC cooling needs

hard reboot my MBP because macOS Golden Gate froze with black screen

have insomnia all night cause apartment too hot, so take it as an opportunity to upgrade all Apple devices to macOS/iOS 27 and apply Samba patch to good old 2012 Apple Time Capsule so that I can still use it as a NAS in macOS 27, since Apple just dropped support for AFP, so need to use SMB

receive workers that will explode the concrete in my home car park to fix a water leak, and redo concrete

try to play with windows pc processor C-States to reduce idle power usage, but couldnt go lower than 64W idle w/o significantly degrading something
#life
investigate adding a UPS to provide uninterruptible backup power to my beefy PC but since it can peak at 650W power draw (RTX at 100% + i9 at 100%), not a good idea to use the consumer 700VA UPS I already have sitting unused

install zed-tmux for zed remote development to be able to have automagic persistent terminals while not having to manually deal w/ tmux sessions

get bank approval to sell investments & withdraw maybe half of what I have with them with the holding company to get the money in personal pocket before 2026 ends, free of any tax, and avoid having too much assets locked under FR tax system

move all my vibe coded project to "The Vibe Machine", an Ubuntu Server running in a VirtualBox, running on Windows, running on my Gaming PC, always connected to fast Ethernet with big Intel i9, and use my Zed IDE remote Zed feature to use Zed on my MacBook, while it's connected to another Zed running on the Ubuntu VM. That way I can safely YOLO auto-accept all commands & tool calls from Claude Code and avoid losing massive amount of time, since MacBook with access to my production servers is too sensitive
