decided to go with deepgram as speech-to-text api as they can do sync transcribing of a 1 hour podcast in about 30s. Will be cheaper than AssemblyAI which also gave me 0 free credits to test my stuff, while Deepgram gave me $200 to test with

created podcast confirmation flow so you can only create content with podcasts that you actually own

had to come up with a solution for managing copyright issues. Learning: RSS feeds and the attached audio is copyrighted and fully protected. So you have to manage the user's permission to use that content on our platform

added creating episodes then had to rethink the entire app flow. Came down to implementing non MVP stuff but having more functionality than expected in the MVP for less work now.
