Hi Folks,
I have built a Waitlist page as a way to potentially collect names and email addresses of people who might be interested in a product I am building in Australia as well as a place to send people to read about what I am building.
There are 3 designs to look at: https://www.relume.io/app/project/P1810743_b940Gnzil3lrSR8uokYslQqYjqdYhtmBAfbInnPlxew
I also have a blog on Substack. Each article contains at least one link to this landing page. For reference, here is my blog: https://govjobpro.substack.com/
I could have just done a waitlist page in https://www.waitforit.me or https://getlaunchlist.com/prelaunch-waitlist (and I might still do that at some point) but for now I feel I am still at the beginning of the process, figuring out product-market-fit so wanted something which can allow me to explain what the product could be and the benefits of it, and then fine tune it over time based on insights from people's feedback. The current format of the waitlist landing page I think helps me achieve that purpose.
If you have time and interest, if you can take a look at the design of the Waitlist page and let me know what you think of it.
There are 3 design concepts (1, 2 & 3).
You should be able to comment directly on the platform where the site is hosted.
Or you can message me your feedback on Wip either privately, or publicly in this thread, whatever you prefer.
Feel free to comment on anything you wish. Here are 3 questions in case you can't think of anything to comment on.
Q1 Do you prefer the main home page image to be a photograph of a happy man or a black and white cartoon image of a happy man?
- Photograph of a happy man
- Black and White cartoon image of a happy man
Q2 Which colour scheme / style do you prefer the most (if you had to choose one):
- Black background
- White background
Q3 For the logo, is it passable?
- Yes (Good enough)
- No (Not good enough)
Again, here is the link to the 3 design concepts:
Kind Regards,
Gary Leech
PS. How to "Comment" inside the Relume platform:
To view the 3 concepts, click on "Style Guide"
To "Comment" inside the Relume platform, you need to go to the "Wireframe" tab and click on the "Comment" box. Once you have clicked on the Comment box, a Comment box will open on the left side of the screen. You should then notice your mouse crosshair change to a symbol that looks like a small speech bubble. Just click on an area in the wireframe where you want to comment about and follow the prompts. If you don't have an account with Relume, you would need to set up a free account. If all that is too much of a headache, feel free to just comment here in the thread.
