I finally launched reTrek to the App Store after 3 weeks of Apple review.

Quick context: reTrek is an iPhone app that turns the walking you already do into progress along a famous trail (the Camino de Santiago, Everest Base Camp, the Inca Trail) or a story quest where your choices shape the ending. It reads your steps from Apple Health, and every milestone you reach unlocks a short film about the place you've gotten to.

I'd like to give away free lifetime subscriptions to the community.

You'll need an iPhone for that (no Android version yet).

Here is the deal:

- install reTrek from the App Store - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/retrek-walking-challenge/id6769137263
- sign in
- send me a DM on WIP with your reTrek profile link (tap the QR button at the top left of your reTrek profile, then "Share link") or the email you signed up with - whichever is easier - and I'll grant you a lifetime subscription

I'd appreciate it (but no pressure, it's very optional):

- please share any feedback with me (either here in comments or via DM), so I can improve the app, or just look at it from another angle
- if you like the app, please review it on the App Store - it would help me rank higher in search. But use the app for a while first - I want the review to be a deserved one =)

I'm doing this:

- to get the initial traffic to my app on the App Store - Apple values that
- to get more users into the app, so it is more lively - good for the social features of reTrek
- to get feedback (if any)
- to give something back to the community
