groceries #laif - after 3 weeks of testing a 50 EUR weekly budget for 2 people, we stopped in week 4. From today on, back to normal. With no budget, we bought food for 74 EUR today. We stopped the experiment because we were starting to have fights over that strict budget and that we didn’t have enough food-intake. **Positive outcome:*** We started to cook things we previously hadn’t cooked (like cooked carrots in butter as a meal - that sounds like WW2 food and in a way it felt like that; but for me it didn’t feel bad -- the appreciation for food was higher back then and when buying groceries we concentratd on the essentials only - which for us is bread, butter, cheese, quark, meat/Wurst, milk, eggs + bananas, apples + cucumber, tomatoes, paprika) -- 3-week experiment done!
