Roast VIDEOAI.ME

Hey there, time to roast 🔥 before the launch 🚀

Help me improve my landing page + pricing page: videoai.me

👀 My audience:
  • - Startup founders & indie hackers who don’t have time (or are too shy) to create videos.
  • - Companies looking to launch or scale their video strategy on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube.
  • - Advertising agencies needing creatives in bulk.

🫣 Your roast, your help:
  • - How can I improve the copy: Is the value proposition clear and compelling?
  • - How can I refine the design: Is everything clear enough to visualize the final result?
  • - How can I enhance the landing page in general: Anything important I should add/remove/improve?

Cheers and thanks! Most people here on WIP are my potential customer, so your feedback is 💎!

Hello! Your product sounds great, and I'm interested in trying it out at some point soon.
One detail I just noticed on mobile was at the end of the pricing page, the bottom floating buy button is blurring the last part of the text of the last answer. You might need more margin there at the bottom to account for smaller screens.
But more importantly, I'm almost fully convinced to buy now, but one thing I haven't seen well explained or mentioned is the variety of content for the videos provided. If I get 360 videos, and I'm supplying just a little bit of info about my product, won't most of the videos say very similar things? If not, won't it be mostly made up or hallucinated by the AI, since it doesn't have much info about my product or my target clients?
I would be concerned about the videos repeating the same info too much or making stuff up.
Also it would be great to have more clarity upfront about exactly what info will be required about my business, and whether I can improve the variety of content by providing more info. I'm doing JTBD analysis and research to better understand my customers and the problem space, and I think that the information in collecting would be super useful for creating marketing content that really resonates with the potential customers, but I'm not sure if I would be able to incorporate that in your form or if the AI or whoever is coming up with the scripts would be able to interpret that info well enough to convert it into these videos.
The other problem is I can't tell exactly what kind of videos will be created. Are they just hyping up the product, without explaining much about it?
It would be extremely useful to see a very simple and short case study (key for B2B sales in general) that shows some concrete input, and 1 or 2 output videos associated to that input.
Also, are all the videos of the same type, or some focused on some aspects or formats or info and some on others?
If these doubts were solved I would be much closer to buying right now haha.
Best of luck, and I hope to do business with you soon! 😀

I agree with this. It would be good to see a few full examples, ideally with proof of how actual videos perform - there are a few claims that need some demonstration at that price point.

If there is a little degree of control, it would be great to know. Can you nudge the thing to make a video based of some copy, concrete ideas? Can you tell it the style (funny, bold, informative, chilling, etc)?

I also, I don't

Other than that, I just noticed a typo in "Profesionnal"

Hey Juan :) like you, people have asked me to add case studies;showcasing brands, displaying a few example videos (around five), and sharing performance metrics. I agree that this would be valuable, and I’ll be working on it.

when you say " there are a few claims that need some demonstration at that price point," do you feel it’s too expensive or too cheap?

Pricing psychology is interesting, some people might perceive it as too affordable to be high-quality. My goal was to make the product highly accessible, but I’ve also heard feedback that ~$1 per video seems surprisingly low, considering that a human video editor, especially in Europe, where editing alone can cost €200–€300.

--> Your perspective on pricing would be really helpful.

Regarding the level of control, my focus is on keeping the tool simple and efficient. I want users to spend just a few minutes describing their product, setting video objectives, highlighting key benefits and features, and providing basic details like their business name and URL. The AI then applies a proven framework—one that helped me grow my personal channel from 0 to 15,000 followers. This method has been particularly effective for marketing and product showcase videos.

And thanks for catching that typo—I’ve fixed it! 😊

I was referring to the fact that (based on price escalation) you want to sell 360 videos in bulk, and that requires a respectable lump sum... not saying is necessarily expensive, just significant to just buy it without more concrete proof. The argument for selling 360 in bulk is good (why not 365 though?)

As for whether it is actually expensive or not: I have no idea!, but as a customer I'd stack this up against other AI-based tools, not a professional video production service.

Your comment on going from 0 to 15000 followers is very telling! When you say "helped me grow" you mean you did other things as well, or just this? Because that makes for a great selling point

Thanks for your feedback! I’ve added padding to improve scrolling and will further refine internal margins, especially on small screens, to ensure better readability.

Regarding video variations, each one is unique, and there are no AI hallucinations. The script is generated first, followed by the video. If you're creating native content, keep in mind that 90% of viewers are non-followers, so repeating key messages in different ways can be effective. Many creators do this to maximize reach. If you're using videos for ads, having a large creative stock allows you to test different versions, identify top performers, and allocate your budget accordingly.

The video generation process is structured to ensure relevance. The same method has helped me grow my personal channel from 0 to 15K followers on Tiktok. Some videos perform better than others, but the key to success is consistent posting. Either you spend hours recording and editing daily, or you generate 30 videos in minutes and schedule them for the month.

Platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok prioritize three factors for viral content:
- Unique content
- Relevance
- Consistent posting

If you post sporadically, your reach suffers. However, regular posting strengthens your algorithmic signals and boosts growth. For example, a top French YouTuber gained massive traction by posting 6–8 Shorts daily. The same strategy can benefit startup founders who lack time for marketing but want to scale efficiently.

To generate videos tailored to your business, you’ll fill out a form detailing:
- Your product and key benefits
- Features you want to highlight
- Your target audience
- Your video goals (traffic, sales, followers)

You can either let AI assist you or provide the details manually. The current version supports short-form videos (20–30 seconds), with plans to expand into long-form content for YouTube and monetizable 1-minute TikTok videos.

Right now, the product is ideal for entrepreneurs who want to launch video marketing without investing time in filming or appearing on camera. Adding case studies and examples to the website is a great idea—I’ll work on that!

Thanks again :)

PS: It sounds like you’re almost convinced to try —what’s still holding you back?

Main thing holding me back were the doubts that you solved now, wanting to see examples, and the fact that the project I'm working on is not quite ready for a marketing push so I'll keep you in mind for a bit later

Tried signing up www.videoai.me/signup and got an email from supabase, the email also pointed to localhost when clicking on the link

Hey Martin,

It’s interesting that you found the sign-up page, as there’s no direct link to it on the site. 😅 It might be a small bug, and while it could cause some frustration, I’ll look into how people are reaching that page. 🫣 That’s exactly why I asked for feedback on the landing page and pricing page. The sign-up and login aren’t the focus right now—they’ll be introduced later as the product evolves into a subscription model. For now, the product is simple: you visit the landing page, understand that you can order a video package to promote your brand on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, and receive your videos within 48 hours (10, 30, or 360 videos).

The long-term goal is to develop a simple video editor with AI-generated content and avatars, but for now, I’m keeping it straightforward with a one-time payment model.

in any case, I’d love to hear any feedback you have on the landing and pricing pages. thinks again for your message!

Hey @Paul, hope your launch goes well! Good idea to get some last minute feedback.

Quick spelling error:

Done by yourself? Check if it's worht it →

Other than that - I think you need to actually have a video example possible to watch, with sound. You have the carousel, but those are of course sound off and not really optimised for individual quality checks.

Maybe it's a real customer of yours, maybe you make one up for the purposes of selling your product. Or even better, one you make of your own product!

Him Nikita, Thank you for your feedback :) I just deleted the sentence that I wanted to put an animation to see if the user did it by herself how much it would cost them.

And like the others, of course, you ask for more precise examples of videos than videos in the carousel, so for brands that I have not done, I will read them. Thank you again for your return, it's super cool to take the time.
