Is this YOUR current average salary or the average salary in India?
How does the price stack up with your revenue, and how much more will a Mac allow you to bring in?
Do you need Mac-specific apps/software you can't get on a Windows?
Are there people relying on you financially that you'll screw over if you spend money you don't yet have?
Will spending that amount of money lead you to become homeless/hungry?
I'm not a Mac girl, so I can't give specific recs on which Mac to get. I have a Dell Precision 5540 (and an older Lenovo Thinkpad as a backup), and I'm a freelance writer, basically live on Zoom for client meetings, make more Loom videos than I can count, record and edit voiceover audio on Audacity, stream with OBS, play OSRS, and create digital products (zero coding, though).
I don't even have the fastest internet (I pay $10/month for basic home wifi and use shared wifi at the library and cafes), and my laptop is more than fast enough to handle everything I need it to when I need it to.
I tend to be extremely practical about expenses (especially being a single mom), and while a Mac would be aesthetically pleasing for marketing photos, the reality is that I can do everything I need and want with a Windows.
It might be time to take an inventory to see what, exactly, you'd need a Mac for and how much it'd enhance your productivity and revenue generation so you make an informed, financially responsible decision.
