Todo
Honest confession: I joined WIP to make my release successful.
But seeing everyone's high todo achievements made me feel intense pressure, and I started getting scared to release.
I have no teammates to celebrate small wins with. No one to vent about bugs to.
Today I closed X, Reddit, all SNS for the day.
And then I realized: I had something I wanted to build, so I built it. I just wanted to share it open source with everyone. That's all.
I remembered my origin point.
Building Cognix was supposed to be about joy, not metrics.
Sharing code was supposed to be about contribution, not competition.
Back to basics: Code because you love it. Share because you care.
Anyone else lose themselves in the success metrics? 🫂
