Holy shit, I understood every word in this video, despite only relying on auditory cues to piece together new words (no visual cues because I was driving). I noticed I fell into the trap of trying to translate each word, then find the meaning within the sentences at first, but then I stopped and thought in sentences/phrases, which helped a lot. I know it's only A1 level and it's silly to get excited about it, but I didn't think I'd be able to actually understand this just from listening. #hyperpolyglot
