HeyNews helps you turn the stories you care about into a newsletter draft that sounds like you. Connect your newsletter so HeyNews can learn from past issues, then add the sources you trust and choose what to cover. It writes the draft, subject line, and preview text for you to review and refine before you send. We built it for our own newsletters after spending too many hours each week collecting links and staring at a blank page.

Took the crawl delay out of heynews.co's robots.txt. AI search crawlers like OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot were getting slowed down by it too, so now they can refresh our pages as often as they like

Rewrote the heynews.co homepage after a GEO audit. Each section now opens with the answer and backs it with a sourced number, about 10 per 500 words, up from 1.7 #heynews
Put live platform counts from the app on the heynews.co homepage and About page. They're in the served HTML so crawlers see them, and if the API is down the line just doesn't show #heynews
Put all four free tools on heynews.co behind an email gate. Results now go out by email instead of on screen, and each report signs the reader up for the HeyNews newsletter #heynews
Moved our backlink trade obligations out of 254 lead files into one Airtable ledger. Found 6 placements still outstanding, and 2 of them were waiting on us #heynews
Made the product screenshot a partner needed for their article and sent it over. Their post was waiting on it, and so was our link #heynews
Fixed all 12 serious accessibility issues on the HeyNews site's English and Turkish home pages. The WCAG 2.2 scan shows 0 now #heynews
