HeyNews helps you turn the stories you care about into a newsletter draft that sounds like you. Connect your newsletter so HeyNews can learn from past issues, then add the sources you trust and choose what to cover. It writes the draft, subject line, and preview text for you to review and refine before you send. We built it for our own newsletters after spending too many hours each week collecting links and staring at a blank page.
Launched May 12, 2026
Added sources to all ten alternatives pages on heynews.co, plus the Turkish versions. Each claim about another product now links to that product's own pricing page or help docs, with the date it was checked. A few competitor prices were stale, so I fixed those too
#heynews
Added LinkedIn, YouTube and X icons to the heynews.co footer. The only social link there before was a "Follow us on LinkedIn" line of text, which is gone now. The eight legal pages got the same icons
#heynews
Put real numbers into three pricing FAQ answers on heynews.co. "Which plan should I start with?" used to describe each plan without a single figure. Now it gives the price, issues and publications for each one, read from the plan catalog. English and Turkish
#heynews
Fixed the heynews.co homepage for phones held sideways. The cookie banner was covering the headline and the free trial button. On short screens the hero now uses a tighter layout, in English and Turkish
#heynews
Shrank the cookie banner on heynews.co for phones. It was eating 38% of the screen and now takes 29%, with the buttons side by side instead of stacked

Added a third use-case page to heynews.co, this one on training an AI writer on your own style from the issues you've already sent. heynews.co/uses/train-ai-on-y…

Put up a newsletter automation page on heynews.co. It explains how HeyNews drafts each issue on your schedule and in your voice, then leaves the sending to your email platform. heynews.co/uses/newsletter-au…
#heynews
Shipped section editing in the HeyNews Newsletter Format. You can add, reorder or remove sections before approving it, and a section you move or rename keeps its style rules. Select Best also stopped filling gaps with stories that scored 0 for relevance
#heynews
Added a "Make us preferred on Google" button to the heynews.co footer, in English and Turkish. Readers can mark us as a preferred source in Google, and Google's script only loads once someone clicks it
#heynews
Finished moving heynews.co's Turkish pages to server-side rendering. /tr/company-newsletter was the last one crawlers still got in English, 131 English words in the body. Now it's all Turkish
#heynews
Put the FAQ answers on heynews.co into the server-rendered HTML. The accordions only showed them once JavaScript ran, so crawlers got questions with no answers on the homepage, pricing, affiliate and tools pages, in English and Turkish
#heynews
Shipped a weekday check in HeyNews drafts. A date printed as "Saturday, Aug 29" gets checked against the calendar and flagged if the day is wrong. Thin news weeks now still get a draft instead of a skipped automation
#heynews
Moved four /tr pages on heynews.co (home, pricing, how it works, creator newsletter) to server-side Turkish rendering. Crawlers that skip JavaScript were getting English. The homepage went from 33 Turkish words to 575

Added a co-founder byline to 46 heynews.co content pages, linked to our About page, so search engines and AI assistants know who wrote them
