Best screencast tool for mac

Question

I'm thinking of doing a screencast, what is a good tool to record my screen with? (for mac)

Would be nice to have an option to also record my webcam. Preferably free with premium upgrade options 🙃

[ScreenFlow](http://www.telestream.net/screenflow/overview.htm) is probably the best tool for the job, but it comes at a price.

If you want something free, I'd just go with macOS' built-in functionality. So that's either QuickTime (File > New Screen Recording), or Screenshot.app (Cmd+Shift+4). You can edit the movie using iMovie.
