RandomProblem.dev - Real SaaS Ideas Based on Real User Pains

Please take a look at the website I made.

It features dozens of curated ideas generated from real Reddit comments. I wanted to make it fun, so it's just giving you a random problem at a time. The response has been positive so far, so I'm planning on building it out more, starting with a weekly newsletter with a hand-picked list of the best ideas found during that week.

Looking for any feedback.

Thanks!

the design could use some work. but i love the concept!

Thanks! Yeah I'm not a designer and it shows :)

Interesting concept. but lots of gaming problems?

I guess it would make sense to narrow the search results for a set of subreddits, right now it's site-wide so picks up a lot of problems from gaming subs.

Yeah I think gummy search nailed this down well. Or scan everything but remove anything not good for sass etc. either way very cool idea, not sure how to monetize!

Ideally, users could pick the subreddits themselves :) Other unsolicited ideas:

  • Be able to see many at once
  • Figure out somehow if that problem has a solution already
  • Identify similar problems and aggregate them

All good suggestion, thank you! I'm adding users and will eventually introduce a way to search and filter the database, among other stuff.

Just FYI I added saving & browsing for registered users, and new ideas are getting added every day now.
